Easy Steps to Remove Tonsil Stones

by Mary O'Mally

Once you've discovered the little white things on your tonsils, it might be easier to think that if you leave them alone, they will just go away on their own! You might try gargling with salt water a few times and if you're lucky, they will disappear and you will not have to look further into how to remove tonsil stones (which is what they're called).

Some people get tonsil stones after they've had a cold because there's more mucus in the system and it's constantly going from the nose to the throat This can go on for several months, depending on how long it takes to remove that excess mucus from your lungs. As the mucus travels, some bacteria might get stuck on the tonsils and begin to grow tonsil stones. After a cold, gargling may be all you need to get rid of them.

But if you just wake up one morning with a sore throat and discover you have tonsil stones, the problem may be caused by something more than just a sickness or something you ate That being said, they really can be caused by what you eat! At some point, something you ate may have got caught in the tonsil crevices. In the beginning though, the particles are minuscule and can't be seen by the naked eye.

As the tonsil stones get larger they will start to grab onto other things that you are eating and drinking. Tonsil stones causing sore throats are the first clue, but if they continue to form, you will also get the added distraction of halitosis (bad breath!) At this point, even though they're not dangerous to your health, you will want to figure out what you're doing, or could be doing to remove tonsil stones.

Even if you've tried everything, you may find that the tonsil stones continue to get larger. When this happens, you'll need to investigate what you are eating that could be making bacteria and mucus grow more quickly than before. You might find that if you stop drinking milk, and start eating yogurt it will help as a first step.

So now you know, almost, how to remove tonsil stones. Try the things I noted first: gargling with salt water twice a day, removing dairy from your diet, and eating yogurt (or taking a pill that has the active cultures in yogurt). If all of these fail to help, it's time to re-look at your diet to see what could be causing the bacteria to continue to form.

Make sure you're doing everything you can to remove tonsil stones for good! Stop suffering with sore throats and bad breath. Get proven information at: www.aHealthStop.com/removetonsilstones.
