We all have our share of stretch marks on our skin. These form naturally on our skin due to stretching. As we grow older, our skin overstretches due to increase in height and weight. These marks are not harmful to our bodies. The main disadvantage of these is that these look like blemishes on the skin. For most of us who are very conscious about the way that we look, we need to make sure that we provide a solution to these. Thanks to research, we can now have a way to remove these marks on the skin.

There are nutrients which are supplied on the skin making it look healthier and more beautiful. With constant application of these creams, you can expect that the scars will begin to disappear.

Laser treatment is an expensive yet effective treatment for removal of stretch marks. This treatment is painless and works faster. Lasers work directly on the scars in the dermal layer which make the scars disappear. The cost may be high but these treatments can instantly make your skin look more beautiful.

Another procedure that has become rather popular is microdermabrasion. This involves the removal of the outermost layer of the skin to reduce the appearance of scars. When the skin regenerates this layer, any remaining blemishes will be covered up by the new cells thus giving you your flawless looking skin. There are also home remedies that you can try if you don't want to spend a lot of money in getting rid of scars. Applying Vitamin E gels on your scars will stimulate cell regeneration similar to how creams work, so that the old cells in scars can be replaced by new ones. Applying cocoa butter has not been proven but a lot of people claim that it works in making scars become lighter. Lastly, some even try massaging to break down the scar tissue and help hasten the healing process.

Pregnancy is a commons cause of these stretch marks. There will be significant increase in the weight of the women in the later stages of pregnancy. They have to make sure that their skin stays elastic to prevent the skin from tearing. Applying creams especially cocoa butter in the early stages of pregnancy can contribute to the prevention of these scars from forming.

With all of these methods of stretch marks and scar removal, you won't have to be uncomfortable in your own skin.
